Background	This AP Membrane Substrate contains 5-bromo-4-chloro-3-indolylphosphate and nitroblue tetrazolium. The substrate is a ready to use solution. Unreacted substrate should be colorless to light yellow in appearance. When this substrate system is reacted with phosphatase, an insoluble permanent dark blue-purple reaction product is obtained. This substrate product is not recommended for microwell or immunohistochemical applications.
