Western Blot analysis of AKR7A3 antibody (10R-3135)
The 293T cell lysate (40 ug) were resolved by SDS-PAGE, transferred to PVDF membrane and probed with anti-human AKR7A3 antibody (1:1000). Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-mouse secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and an ECL detection system.

|Biological Significance||AKR7A3 is a member of the aldo/keto reductase superfamily involved in the detoxification and metabolism of a variety of exogenous aldehydes and ketones. The activity of AKR7A3 may detoxify the aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) dialdehyde, which reacts with proteins, and thereby inhibitis AFB1 induced toxicity. AKR7A3 is expressed in kidney, colon, pancreas, endometrium and adenocarcinoma.|
