|Molecular Weight||44.0 kDa|
|Form & Buffer||Supplied in liquid form in 20 mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH8.0) containing 10% glycerol 0.4M Urea|
Storage & Safety
|Storage||Can be stored at 4 deg C short term (1-2 weeks). For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20 deg C or -70 deg C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.|
|Biological Significance||The ApoBEC4 is a member of the AID/ApoBEC family of polynucleotide (deoxy)cytidine deaminases, which convert cytidine to uridine. Other AID/ApoBEC family members are involved in Mrna editing, somatic hypermutation and recombination of immunoglobulin genes, and innate immunity to retroviral infection.|
