AXIN2 antibody (20R-3003)
Rabbit polyclonal AXIN2 antibody
|Synonyms||Polyclonal AXIN2 antibody, Anti-AXIN2 antibody, Axis inhibition protein 2 antibody, Axin-like protein antibody, Axil antibody, Axis inhibition protein 2 antibody, Conductin antibody|
|Immunogen||AXIN2 antibody was raised in Rabbit using KLH-conjugated linear peptide corresponding to human Axin2 as the immunogen|
Immunohistochemical staining using AXIN2 antibody (20R-3003)
Paraffin-embedded colorectal cancer (Fig. 1) and multiform glioblastoma (Fig. 2 & 3) tissues were prepared using heat-induced epitope retrieval in citrate buffer, pH 6.0. Immunostaining was performed using a 1:500 dilution of Anti-Axin-2. Staining pattern appears to be restricted to malignant cells.
|Form & Buffer||Suppliedin buffer containing 0.1 M Tris-Glycine (pH 7.4), 150 mM NaCl with 0.05% sodium azide|
Usage & Assay Information
|Usage Recommendations||WB: 0.5 ug/m, IHC-P: 1:500|
Storage & Safety
|Storage||Stable for 1 year at 2-8 deg C from date of receipt|
|Biological Significance||Axis inhibition protein 2 (AXIN2) has been linked to selective tooth angenesis. It has been found in human thymus, prostate, testis, small intestine, ovarian tissue and in the colon, at a lower expression rate. Axin-2 is involved during skull morphogenesis and missing Axin-2 can cause abnormal skull morphology. Variation in Axin-2 has been associated with accelerated chondrocyte proliferation.|
