|Method of Purification||CAPZA2 protein was purified by using conventional chromatography techniques|
|Molecular Weight||35.3 kDa|
|Form & Buffer||Supplied in liquid form in 20 mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0) containing 10% glycerol, 0.4M UREA|
Storage & Safety
|Storage||Can be stored at 4 deg C short term (1-2 weeks). For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20 deg C or -70 deg C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.|
|Biological Significance||CAPZA2 is a member of the F-actin capping protein alpha subunit family. It is the alpha subunit of the barbed-end actin binding protein Cap Z. By capping the barbed end of actin filaments, Cap Z regulates the growth of the actin filaments at the barbed end.|
