Immunofluorescent staining using CBFB antibody (10R-1516)

Immunostaining analysis in HeLa cells. HeLa cells were fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde and permeabilized with 0.01% Triton-X100 in PBS. The cells were immunostained with anti-CBFB antibody.

Storage & Safety

Storage Store at 2-8 deg C for up to one year. We recommend long term storage at -20 deg C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Biohazard Information This antibody solution contains sodium azide (NaN ) as a preservative. There is a potential hazard that NaN reacts with copper or lead to produce an explosive compound. For safe disposal, the vial has to be washed thoroughly with water. It is strongly adv

General Information

Biological Significance The protein encoded by this gene is the beta subunit of a heterodimeric core-binding transcription factor belonging to the PEBP2/CBF transcription factor family which master-regulates a host of genes specific to hematopoiesis (e.g., RUNX1) and osteogenesis (e.g., RUNX2). The beta subunit is a non-DNA binding regulatory subunit; it allosterically enhances DNA binding by alpha subunit as the complex binds to the core site of various enhancers and promoters, including murine leukemia virus, polyomavirus enhancer, T-cell receptor enhancers and GM-CSF promoters.
