|Biological Significance||CHMP2B belongs to the vacuolar sorting protein family. It is a component of the ESCRT-III complex. This complex is crucial for sorting endosomal articles into multivesicular bodies (MVBs), and are also required for the formation of these bodies. CHMP2B widely expressed in brain, heart, skeletal muscle, small intestine, pancreas, lung, placenta and leukocytes. Recombinant human CHMP2B protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.|
