|Molecular Weight||10.4 kDa|
|Form & Buffer||Supplied in liquid form in 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0) containing 0.15M NaCl, 20% glycerol, 1mM DTT|
Storage & Safety
|Storage||Can be stored at 4 deg C short term (1-2 weeks). For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20 deg C or -70 deg C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.|
|Biological Significance||CMC4 was identified by involvement in some t(X;14) translocations associated with mature T-cell proliferations. This region has a complex gene structure, with a common promoter and 5’ exon spliced to two different sets of 3’ exons that encode two different proteins. This gene represents the downstream 8 kDa protein that localizes to mitochondria.|
