IGF1 or IGF-I (Insuling Growth Factor 1) is a hormone similar in molecular structure to insulin. It plays an important role in childhood growth and continues to have anabolic effects in adults. IGF1 is measured to help diagnose the cause of growth abnormalities, evaluate pituitary function, and monitor treatment of growth hormone deficiency or surplus. IGF1 is a key parameter in monitoring growth disorders and developing new therapeutic targets.

Fitzgerald Industries offer ELISA kits specific to numerous species of IGF1 such as human IGF1 ELISA kit, mouse IGF1 ELISA kit or rat IGF1 ELISA kit. These IGF1 ELISAs are highly sensitive with ranges of approximately 60 pg/ml-4000 pg/ml.

In addition, we offer a human IGF1 Receptor ELISA kit which has a detection range of 0.312 ng/ml-20 ng/ml and sensitivity of 0.078 ng/ml. All of these IGF1 ELISAs are compatible with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and with cerebrospinal fluid and other body fluids, making them perfect for the scientific and diagnostic measurement of IGF1.

We also offer a wide selection of IGF1 antibodies, both monoclonal and polyclonal and raised in a range of host species. See our ELISA protocol for more information plus links to useful reagents.
