Western Blot analysis of FKBP14 antibody (10R-1185)
Cell lysates of mouse kidney (35 ug) were resolved by SDS-PAGE, transferred to PVDF membrane and probed with anti-human FKBP14 (1:1000). Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-mouse secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and an ECL detection system.

|Biological Significance||The FK506-binding proteins (FKBPs) are a unique group of chaperones found in a wide variety of organisms. The gene encoding FKBP14 maps to human chromosome 7, which houses over 1,000 genes and comprises nearly 5% of the human genome. Many of these functions are mediated by specific domains that adopt distinct tertiary conformations. In humans, FKBP14 possess variable numbers of FKBP domains and are associated with the endoplasmic reticulum (ER). FK506 Binding Protein 14, 22 KDa (FKBP14) subcellular located cytoplasm, endoplasmic reticulum lumen. FKBP14 majer molecular functions are calcium ion binding, isomerase activity, peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase activity.|
