Western Blot analysis of immunized recombinant protein using p66alpha antibody (10R-1277)
Left: p66alpha staining. Right: Coomassie Blue staining of immunized recombinant protein.
|Method of Purification||p66alpha antibody was purified using protein G column chromatography from culture supernatant of hybridoma cultured in a medium containing bovine IgG-depleted (approximately 95%) fetal bovine serum.|
|Form & Buffer||p66alpha antibody in PBS (3.0 mM KCl,1.5 mM KH2PO4, 140 mM NaCl, 8.0 mM Na2HPO4 (pH 7.4)) containing 1% bovine serum albumin (BSA) and 0.05% sodium azide (NaN3).|
Storage & Safety
|Storage||Store at 2-8 deg C for up to one year. We recommend long term storage at -20 deg C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.|
|Biohazard Information||This antibody solution contains sodium azide (NaN ) as a preservative. There is a potential hazard that NaN reacts with copper or lead to produce an explosive compound. For safe disposal, the vial has to be washed thoroughly with water. It is strongly adv|
|Biological Significance||p66 Alpha gene has a pro-apoptotic role in human cell lines and it is activated by a p53-independent pathway.|
