|Immunogen||PFKM antibody was raised in Mouse using a recombinant human PFKM protein as the immunogen|
Western Blot analysis using PFKM antibody (10R-8651)
The HepG2 cell lysate (30 ug) were resolved by SDS-PAGE, transferred to PVDF membrane and probed with PFKM antibody (1:500 - 1:2000). Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-mouse secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and an ECL detection system.
|Method of Purification||PFKM antibody was purified by protein A affinity chromatography|

|Usage Recommendations||ELISA: 1:2000, WB: 1:2000|
Storage & Safety
|Storage||Store at 4 deg C for short term storage, for long term storage aliquot and store at -20 deg C, avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles.|
|Biological Significance||PFKM(phosphofructokinase, muscle) is a regulatory glycolytic enzyme that convert fructose 6-phosphate and ATP into fructose 1,6-bisphosphate (through PFK-1), fructose 2,6-bisphosphate (through PFK-2) and ADP. Three phosphofructokinase isozymes exist in humans: muscle, liver and platelet. Mutations in this gene have been associated with glycogen storage disease type VII, also known as Tarui disease.|
