PGP 9.5 Blocking Peptide (33R-10434)

A synthetic peptide for use as a blocking control in assays to test for specificity of PGP 9.5 antibody, catalog no. 20R-PG011

Synonyms Ubiquitin carboxyl-terminal esterase L1 Blocking Peptide, Neuron cytoplasmic protein 9.5 Blocking Peptide, Ubiquitin thioesterase L1 Blocking Peptide, PARK5 Blocking Peptide, Ubiquitin C-terminal hydrolase Blocking Peptide, UCH-L1 Blocking Peptide
Protein Type Synthetic
Applications User optimized
Assay Information Antibody should be pre-incubated with peptide prior to incubation with tissue/sample. We suggest perincubation for 1 hour at room temperature. A 10^-6 or 10^-5 molar (M) peptide concentration is suggested to block antigen/antibody binding. However, optimal working concentration should be determined by the investigator using a range of peptide dilutions to eliminate or reduce immunoreactivity.
