Recombinant proteins are made from cloned DNA sequences which usually encode an enzyme or protein with known function. Recombinant DNA technology allows for the production of wild type and modified human and mammalian proteins in bulk quantities close to their natural state or with heavily modified attributes.
Fitzgerald Industries offers a vast range of recombinant proteins including transcription factors, growth factors, protein modification, DNA damage proteins, histones, cancer related proteins, cardiac markers, signal transduction proteins, thousands of proteases, inhibitors and enzymes and much more.
We supply recombinant proteins of the highest quality at a wide range of purity levels and from most of the commonly used expression systems including E.coli, SF-9 cells, HeLa cells, 293 cells, yeast and many others.
Our recombinant proteins are ideally suited for use as positive controls in ELISA, protein-protein interaction studies, In vitro biochemical assays and cell-based functional assays, Flow Cytometry, immunohistochemistry, immunoblotting and other antibody assays.
Some of our most popular recombinant proteins include:
Hepatitis C Virus NS3 protein
HCV is a small, single-stranded, RNA virus with a high rate of replication with approximately one trillion particles produced each day in an infected individual.
This Hepatitis C Virus NS3 protein is excellent for Western Blot and ELISA applications, or this Hepatitis C Virus NS3 protein which is one of best selling proteins for ELISA assay development. We also supply a number of specific genotypes of Hepatitis C, including Hepatitis C Virus NS3 Genotype 1b protein, Hepatitis C Virus NS3 Genotype 2a protein and Hepatitis C Virus NS3 Genotype 2b protein.
Treponema pallidum TmpA protein
Treponema pallidum is a distinctive spirochaete bacterium with subspecies that cause treponemal diseases such as syphilis, bejel, pinta and yaws. Our recombinant TmpA proteins may be of use to researchers investigating sexually transmitted infections.
This Treponema palladum TmpA protein is >95% pure and is ideal for use in ELISA and Western Blotting applications. we also supply p15 p17 p47 Treponema pallidum protein with accompanying Treponema pallidum protein-antibody pairs - where three detection antigen preparations can be utilized as reporters in ELISA.

Creatine kinase (CK) is an isoenzyme found throughout the body with a vital role in metabolism through the conversion of creatine and the consumption of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) to create phosphocreatine and adenosine diphosphate (ADP). This CKMB protein is >99% pure making it ideal for use in ELISA. We also supply recombinant CKMB Type 1 protein which is >95% pure and can be used in either ELISA or WB, as well as and CKMB Type 2 protein which is also >95% pure and can be optimized for a range of applications.
HBcAg or hepatitis core antigen is a hepatitis B viral protein. It is an indicator of active viral replication meaning its presence can be taken as an indicator that the person is infectious and capable of passing the disease on to others.
This HBcAg protein is perfect for ELISA and Western Blot applications or try this HBcAg protein (His tag) making it ideal for Lateral Flow applications, as well as ELISA and WB, where the his tag can be easily be detected using a His tag antibody (HRP).
