|Biological Significance||TCEAL1 (Transcription elongation factor A protein-like 1) belongs to transcription elongation factor A (SII)-like (TCEAL) family. This family may function as nuclear phosphoproteins that modulate transcription in a promoter context-dependent manner. It is involved in transcriptional regulation. This protein expressed in all tissues, especially highly expressed in heart, ovary, prostate and skeletal muscle. Recombinant human TCEAL1 protein, fused to His-tag at C-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.|
