Storage Store at 4 deg C until reconstitution. Following reconstitution aliquot and freeze at -20 deg C for long term storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Biohazard Information This product contains sodium azide as preservative. Although the amount of sodium azide is very small appropriate care must be taken when handling.

General Information

Biological Significance Vesicular stomatitis virus (VSV) is a virus in the family Rhabdoviridae; the well-known Rabies virus belongs to the same family. VSV can infect insects and mammals. It has particular importance to farmers in certain regions of the world where it can infect cattle. It is also a common laboratory virus used to study the properties of viruses in the Rhabdoviridae family, as well as to study viral evolution.
